How a Chemical Peel works
ALL chemical peels work by removing the outer layers of the skin. The depth of the peeling is determined by the chemical agent used and the concentration, among other factors. This can range from very light to create faster sloughing of the top layers of skin to deeper peeling. Following a peel, the deeper layers of the skin will respond by regenerating new skin and by increasing the production of collagen. The result is smoother and more youthful looking skin.
Microdermabrasion VS Peeling
- Microdermabrasion; an intense PHYSICAL exfoliation process, removes up to 30% of the epidermis.
- Fantastic to treat thickened skin
- Can cause sensitivity, impaired cell communication and dehydration when performed on the wrong skin

We have different classifications for our peels. Very superficial peels are based on your enzymes, which work on the Corneum layer of your skin. Great starter peels. Superficial and medium depth peels are based on peptides and acids that work deep down into the Basale layer.
